Refund Policy
Effective July 15, 2026
We keep this simple and fair. Online Guard Cards is operated by Whitestar Group (CA PPO 120101 · CA PI 24105).
Online courses
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not passed any module assessment and no certificate has been issued to you.
- After a certificate is issued, the course is non-refundable. A certificate is the deliverable — once issued and serialized in the state-verifiable registry, it can't be "returned."
- Partial progress is evaluated case by case — if something went wrong on our end (technical failure, content error), we make it right, up to and including a full refund.
Hybrid courses (with an in-person session)
- The online-portion terms above apply.
- In-person sessions can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours before the session start.
- No-shows without notice may forfeit the in-person seat fee for that session; we'll always try to rebook you first.
Duplicate or accidental purchases
Charged twice, bought the wrong course, or bought for the wrong person? Contact us within 30 days and we'll refund the duplicate or move the enrollment — no friction.
How to request a refund
Email support@whitestargroup.net from the email address on the order (or use the contact page) with your order number. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; Stripe typically posts them within 5–10 business days.
Note: refunds never affect certificates you've already legitimately earned, and requesting a refund never affects your standing with BSIS.
